Evolving Data Management to Drive Business Growth


For more than 30 years, TMA Systems has been helping facilities across the country drive more value for their businesses with reliable, innovative, and customizable facilities and asset management solutions. As its business continued to grow, TMA Systems saw a growing need for its existing ERP and CRM systems to evolve as well. With decades of client data to manage, TMA needed a team of reliable experts on their side to help guide them through a complex data migration process, ensuring a smooth transition and establishing a solid foundation from which to continue to grow the business to new heights.



The first step in our process with TMA was a series of discovery sessions to better understand the complete scope of requirements, including data quality, source management, and user needs. As a result of this process, we recommended a phased approach that would focus first on the SaaS data. This would allow us to best manage the required database cleanup, datapoint transformations, and total data administration throughout the migration process while still successfully delivering to TMA’s expectations of an end-of-year completion.



In addition to migrating critical SaaS data that included account, contact, and lead management information, we also built a custom integration between TMA’s Salesforce organization and a first-party license generation platform to strengthen internal efficiencies and streamline the end-user post-purchase experience.

The end result was a fully migrated SaaS database to serve as the springboard for managing continued growth moving forward. To help ensure TMA was best equipped to maximize the impact of its Salesforce functionality, we provided their team with customized training for their key user personas. This was done through a series of Salytics-led sessions as well as a curated library of self-learning content, leveraging Salesforce Trailhead for centralized access. We continue to work with TMA to support their data management needs for business success.
